Friedrich Leopold of Loë

Friedrich Leopold Aloysius Maria Hubertus Graf von Loë (* May 28, 1861 in Schloss Wissen ; † April 14, 1899 in Gries ) was a German entails owner and member of the German Reichstag .

origin

His parents were Count Maximilian August von Loë (1817–1879) and his wife, Therese, née Countess von Arco-Zinneberg (1835–1906). Like his father, his uncle Felix von Loë was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives.

Life

Loë studied in Bonn and Strasbourg , where he was also a trainee lawyer until he took over the family estates in 1885. He was a lieutenant in the reserve in the Westphalian Cuirassier Regiment in municipal and district offices of self-government.

From November 1892 to 1893 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Düsseldorf 8th Kleve , Geldern and the German Center Party .

Loë married Paula Countess von Korff called Schmising (1863–1942) in Tatenhausen on June 14, 1888 , with whom he had several children:

  • Maria Mathilde (* 1895) ⚭ Johannes von Gumppenberg (1891–1959)
  • Joseph (1896–1944) ⚭ Princess Isabelle zu Salm and Salm-Salm (1903–2009), daughter of Emanuel zu Salm-Salm
