Friedrich Louis Hesse

Friedrich Louis Hesse , also Friedrich Ludwig Hesse (born December 7, 1849 in Bischofswerda , † October 22, 1906 in Leipzig ) was a German dentist .

Hesse was a dentist and director of the University Dental Clinic in Leipzig. He was an associate professor and first professor at the Dental Institute at the University of Leipzig , which was founded as a private company on October 16, 1884 and nationalized in 1898 . From 1891 to 1900 Hesse was chairman of the “Central Association of German Dentists” (CVdZ), the predecessor organization of today's “German Society for Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine” ( DGZMK ).

The Society for Dental, Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine eV in Leipzig is named after Hesse.

His son was Fritz Hesse , his grandson was Luz Long .
