Friedrich Ludwig Gaupp (born December 10, 1832 in Ellwangen ; † July 6, 1901 in Tübingen ) was a lawyer, professor and member of the German Reichstag .

Live and act

Gaupp studied law at the University of Tübingen and in 1866 was appointed senior judge in Esslingen . From 1873 to 1884 he was a district judge in Ellwangen, from 1897 to 1900 he was a full professor at the University of Tübingen.

In 1874 he was elected to the German Reichstag for the German party in the constituency of Württemberg 6 ( Reutlingen , Tübingen , Rottenburg ) , where he was a member of the parliamentary group of the National Liberal Party and a member of the Justice Commission. He was a member of the Reichstag until 1877.
