Friedrich Otto Boltze (born December 10, 1898 in Trier , † October 12, 1983 in Ottobrunn ) was a German lawyer, officer and chief executive of the Franco-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Paris.

Friedrich Otto Boltze was born in Trier on December 10, 1898. In 1916 he graduated from high school and then took part in the First World War from 1916 to 1918 as a hunter on horseback in the hunter regiment on horseback No. 13 . In 1918 he experienced the demobilization in Jerichow as a lieutenant . In 1919 he took up his law studies in Halle . In 1934 he was reactivated as Rittmeister in the 16th Cavalry Regiment in Erfurt.

Boltze served as combatants in the French campaign of World War II and was from 1941 to 1943 member of the German Armistice Commission in Morocco . After the war, he served from 1951 to 1956 as a city ​​councilor (FDP) and advisor for economic development in Frankfurt am Main . At the height of his career, he was the first German general manager to head the Franco-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Paris together with his French partner O. Wilhelm from 1956 to 1958 .

Friedrich Otto Boltze was married to Bertha Freiin von Rotenhan and the father of four children. His brother Erich Boltze (1891–1981) was an influential German diplomat.
