Friedrich Rupps

Michael Friedrich Rupps (born June 16, 1894 in Gaugenwald ; † June 13, 1969 in Freudenstadt ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

Rupps was a sawmill owner and since 1936 mayor of the community of Schwarzenberg-Schönmünzach . After the Second World War he worked alongside his mayor's office in tourism and ensured that the community received the status of a Kneipp spa in 1953.

Rupps he joined the Christian Democrats and was from 1948 to 1963 chairman of the CDU district association Freudenstadt / Black Forest. In the state elections in 1956 and 1960 he was elected as a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg through the constituency of Freudenstadt , to which he belonged until 1964. In 1956 he won the direct mandate and four years later he moved to parliament via the second mandate .
