Friedrich Tschinke

Friedrich tschinke (* 10. October 1894 in Chicago , † 3. November 1948 in Halle (Saale) ) was a German Christian resistance fighters against the Nazis , prisoner in the Buchenwald concentration camp , Rectors in Halle (Saale) and VVN - activist .

Life

Tschinke resisted the Nazi regime out of Christian conviction . A court sentenced him to two years in prison , which he spent in the “ Red Ox ” in Halle. He was then transferred to the Buchenwald concentration camp.

When the Nazi rule was eliminated, he joined the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU). Professionally, his path led him to the Steintor School in Halle as principal . From 1947 he made his experiences from resistance and persecution available as a contemporary witness of the VVN, on whose closer board of the state management of Saxony-Anhalt he worked.
