Friedrich Wilhelm Fabarius
Friedrich Wilhelm Fabarius (born January 25, 1815 in Mülheim an der Ruhr , † December 31, 1900 in Düsseldorf ) was a German marine painter from the Düsseldorf School .
Fabarius worked as a businessman until 1860 and painted in his spare time. He then moved to Düsseldorf, where he received advice from Carl Hilgers and August von Wille . Fabarius and Wille lived in the same house at Goltsteinstrasse 26 in 1867. Andreas Achenbach served as his role model. After 1866 was represented on exhibitions of the academy in Berlin, Dresden, Vienna, London and other places.
