Friedrich Wilhelm Hachenberg (born November 12, 1884 in Puderbach ; †  October 16, 1960 there ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school , he worked in his parents' farm. After completing an apprenticeship as an administrative candidate at various local authorities, most recently at the Neuwied city ​​administration , he joined the Princely Wiedische administration in 1905 . There he worked as domain director from 1927 to 1955.

His son is the forester Friedrich Hachenberg, born in 1915 .

Political party

Before 1933 Friedrich Wilhelm Hachenberg was a member of the German People's Party (DVP) and in the Christian Social People's Service . Since 1933 he was a member of the Stahlhelm and since 1934 SA reserve (transferred from the Stahlhelm). He became a member of the NSDAP in 1933. After the war he was a member of the CDP (later CDU) from 1946 and from 1950 to 1955 chairman of the CDU local association Neuwied, then honorary chairman and deputy chairman of the CDU district association Neuwied.

Hachenberg was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament for three electoral terms (2nd – 4th WP) from May 18, 1951 until his death on October 16, 1960. In the 2nd electoral term he was a member of the Agricultural Policy Committee, the Main Committee and the Viticulture and Wine Economy Committee. In the 3rd electoral term he was a member of the main committee and the intermediate committee. In the 4th electoral term he was again a member of the Agricultural Policy Committee and the Main Committee.

Hachenberg was a member of the Neuwied district council .

Other engagement

He had been a member of the Agricultural Association for Rhenish Prussia since 1925, head of the fish farming and water management department since 1927 and a member of the Confessing Church since 1933 . He was a presbyter , member of the district synod and chairman of the district synodal accounting committee. After the war, Hachenberg was co-founder in 1948 and chairman in 1949 of the employers' association for agriculture, viticulture and forestry for Rhineland-Palatinate and, from 1958, state chairman of the working group of state and sport fishing associations in Rhineland-Palatinate.
