Max Goedkoop

Max Goedkoop ( November 7, 1928 - April 11, 2017 ) was a Dutch football player who was active in the first half of the 1950s at AFC Ajax in Amsterdam .

Goedkoop's competitive debut in the Ajax first team on January 25, 1953 in a home game against Velseroorder Sport Vereniging (VSV) from Velserbroek , ended in a 2-2 draw. By the introduction of paid football in 1954, he made five competitive appearances, scoring one goal. The team, with players like Hans Boskamp , Rinus Michels and Ger van Mourik , finished the 1953/54 season in Eerste Class A in second place. Goedkoop recorded three more missions after the introduction of professional football, the last of which on May 19, 1956 in a 1: 4 defeat against Fortuna '54 from Geleen . In this last season before the introduction of the Eredivisie , Piet van der Kuil and Eddy Pieters Graafland played alongside Goedkoop . The team finally came fourth in the Hoofd class .
