Friedrich Wilhelm Ludwig von Schwerin

Friedrich Wilhelm Ludwig von Schwerin (born April 2, 1862 in Wustrau ; † February 14, 1925 in Berlin ) was a Prussian civil servant and district president in the Prussian administrative district of Frankfurt (1908-1918).

Life

Friedrich von Schwerin came from the noble family von Schwerin . He was a son of Albert Graf von Zieten-Schwerin (1835-1922) and Constance Baronesse von Derschau (1838-1914).

Friedrich von Schwerin studied law and became a court trainee in 1886. During his studies he became a member of the Association of German Students in Berlin . In 1888 he was promoted to government trainee. From 1891 he worked as a government assessor for the settlement commission . In 1895 and 1896 he worked for the Wroclaw High Presidium and temporarily administered the office of District Administrator in Görlitz in 1895 . In 1896/97 he was district administrator in Thorn .

In 1902 he went to the Prussian Ministry of the Interior as an unskilled worker. In 1903 he was appointed a secret government councilor and lecturer council. In addition, from 1903 to 1907 he was a member of the Reich Disciplinary Court for non-judicial officials. In 1907 he was promoted to the Secret Upper Government Council and appointed a member of the examination commission for senior administrative officials.

From 1908 to 1918 he was district president in Frankfurt (Oder) . In 1908 he also became a commissioner at the settlement commission and in 1909 a member of the immediate commission for administrative reform. In 1910 he became chairman of the supervisory board of the Landgesellschaft “Eigen Scholle” GmbH. In 1917 he was appointed to the Real Secret Upper Government Council. In 1918 he was put up for disposal and retired in 1919.
