Life

After elementary school , the son of a wheelwright attended business school and became an industrial clerk . In 1943 he was a soldier and returned in November 1945 with severe injuries and ill home . After the Second World War , he initially worked as a wheelwright in his father's business until he was unable to carry out the physically heavy work after a sports accident in 1950. From 1951 to 1973 he was the community cashier and registrar for the parishes of the joint parish "Auf dem Berge" , but also helped in his father's wheelwright shop. From 1973 until his retirement he worked in the city treasury of Einbeck.

1978 to 1981 the first Low German articles appeared in the Einbecker Morgenpost , from 1980 to 1984 more followed in the Dasseler Rundschau and in the Weserberglandkalender . In 1984 Wille wrote the historical play De Waintröge , which he had performed with an amateur drama group in Brunsen. His first book Das Flachdeutsche Wagenrad was published in 1979 by Gerstenberg Verlag in Hildesheim . He also translated the entire Bible into his East Westphalian dialect and self-published the book because no publisher wanted to take the financial risk. He also translated all of Wilhelm Busch's works , who himself also wrote some stories in East Westphalian plateau. Wille was also the author of numerous other books and translated literature, fairy tales and hymn book texts into Low German.

Wille has also made a contribution to the memory of the Nazi slave laborers , which he recorded for posterity in several books in the High German language.

Friedrich Wille was married and had 12 children.
