Friedrich Wolff (born September 7, 1900 in Berlin , † July 7, 1985 in Wilhelmshaven ) was a German engineer and industrialist .

Life

Friedrich Wolff, who took part in the First World War as a war volunteer and flag junior in 1918 , began studying engineering at the Technical University of Berlin-Charlottenburg at the end of the war in the winter semester of 1918/19 and joined the Corps Saxonia-Berlin in the same semester. He completed his studies as a Dipl.-Ing. from. In 1927 he became a Dr.-Ing. PhD.

He began his professional career in Berlin at Selas AG. Then he moved to the naval shipyard in Wilhelmshaven. After the Second World War , he built the oxygen plant in Wilhelmshaven and later the acetylene plant in Emden as a partner in Linde AG . For over 15 years he was chairman of the general trade association in Wilhelmshaven.

Awards

  • In 1967 Friedrich Wolff was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit, First Class, for his work during the reconstruction after the Second World War .
