Friedrich von Reventlow (born September 10, 1649 in Kiel ; † October 29, 1728 ) was a German secret budget and district administrator , lord of Neuendorf, monastery provost of Uetersen and holder of the Dannebrog order and the order of the elephants .

Life

His parents were Detlev (1600–1664) and Christine Reventlow (née Rantzau ) (1618–1688). His siblings were: Christian Reventlow, Henrik Reventlow, Henning Reventlow, Cai Reventlow, Heinrich Reventlow, Conrad Reventlow, Elisabeth Sophie Reventlow, Catharine Christine Reventlow, Friedrich Reventlow, Detlev Reventlow, Dorothée Reventlow and Sophie Reventlow. In 1696 he was elected provost of the Uetersen monastery and at the same time bitter of the noble Itzehoe monastery , he was in the service of the Danish crown. He was the uncle and first provost of three of the militant and high-handed priory Countess Anna Emerentia von Reventlow (1680-1753). Embroiled in endless arguments with her, he resigned from his post as provost of the monastery in Uetersen after almost 30 years (see also: Benedikt von Ahlefeld ).

Claus von Reventlow was a son from his second marriage to Anna Hedwig, geb. of torments († 1717).
