Friedrich von Stockheim (born May 10, 1509 ; † 1556 in Geisenheim or Eltville ), from the family of the Lords of Stockheim , was Vice Cathedral of the Rheingau . To distinguish it from his father Friedrich, who held this office before him, he is also referred to in literature as Friedrich von Stockheim the Younger .

Friedrich von Stockheim was the son of Friedrich von Stockheim (1462–1528) and his wife Irmel von Karben (1484–1529). He was the brother of Karl , Philipp, Johann, Adolf and Clara. Carl, Philip, Johann and Friedrich jointly owned the fiefdom of the Oberstockheim court (from Kurpfalz ). Adolf became canon in Mainz Cathedral . Clara was married to Albrecht von Dienheim .

Friedrich von Stockheim became canon until he resigned in 1526. From 1544 to 1556 he was Vice Cathedral of the Rheingau . He lived in Eltville where he built a stately house and was also wealthy in Geisenheim.

In his first marriage he married Dorothea nee von Venningen and in the second marriage Agnes von Koppenstein . She died in Eltville in 1553 and has an epitaph in the local Catholic parish church of St. Peter and Paul .

The son Wilhelm von Stockheim (1539–1584) had been bailiff of the County of Idstein since 1553 .
