Carl von Stockheim (* approx. 1500 ; † October 29, 1551 ), from the family of the Lords of Stockheim , was a Burgmann and bailiff in Usingen , today a town in the Hochtaunuskreis in Hesse .

Carl von Stockheim was the son of the Vice Cathedral of the Rheingau , Friedrich von Stockheim the Elder. Elderly and the Irmel of Carbene . It was first mentioned in a document in 1530 . Around 1540 he became Burgmann zu Usingen and from 1548 to 1551 he was Oberamtmann of the County of Nassau-Weilburg in Weilburg . In 1548 he served as the envoy of Count Philip III. from Nassau-Weilburg to the Reichstag in Augsburg.

Tombstone

His grave slab is still on the outer wall of the Protestant church in Usingen. It bears the inscription: Anno Dni: 1551. auff Sant symy And Judietag died the Eedel and Eirnuest Carlen von Stockheim Oberamptmann in the county of Nassau Weilburgk grace the god .
