Friedrich von Zangen

Friedrich von Zangen (born December 2, 1812 in Lang-Göns , † April 6, 1876 in Battenberg (Eder) ) was a German forester and member of parliament.

Life

Friedrich von Zangen studied at the Hessian Ludwig University . In 1832 he became active in the Corps Starkenburgia . After graduating, he joined the forest service of the Duchy of Nassau . Until the end of 1855 he was head forester in Biedenkopf for 13 years . At the beginning of 1856 he was transferred to Battenberg as forester, where he was last government and forestry councilor. He was a member of the board of the Sparkasse Biedenkopf.

From 1871 to 1873, Zangen was a member of the constituency of Wiesbaden 11 (Biedenkopf) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the Free Conservative Party . From 1872 to 1873 he was a member of the Nassau Municipal Parliament .
