Fritz-Christoph Duden

Fritz-Christoph Duden (born September 20, 1939 in Schneverdingen ; † March 1, 2017 ) was a German civil servant and member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life

After completion of the primary school in Schneverdingen 1954 concluded Duden an apprenticeship in auto mechanics -HANDWERK 1957 with the trade test and was subsequently police official at the Ministry of the Interior in Hamburg .

After successfully completing a driving instructor course in 1967, Duden attended the evening school of the Hamburg Chamber of Crafts from 1967 to 1969 and received the master's degree in the automotive mechanic trade after passing the exam in 1969 . After further courses at the Chamber of Crafts, the master's degree in automotive electronics was added in 1973. His work in the police included that of a driving instructor with a special inspection assignment at the Hamburg State Police School.

Duden married in 1960 and had three children. His wife died in 1982.

politics

In 1967 Duden joined the SPD . His various functions within the party also included that of the chairman of his Jenfeld local association . As a so-called shop steward , he represented the interests of colleagues for the police union .

From 1983 to 1986 he was elected as a member of the Hamburg parliament and mainly worked in the submission committee, the transport committee and the committee for the rights of foreigners.
