Fritz Christian Gerhard
Fritz Christian Gerhard (born November 2, 1911 in Barmen ; † June 26, 1993 in Wuppertal ) was a German music teacher and composer .
Fritz Christian Gerhard, born in 1911 in the urban area of what is now Wuppertal , was a composer , conductor and music teacher. He studied at the Cologne University of Music under Phillip Jamach , Heinrich Lemacher and Otto Siegel and then worked alongside his work as a teacher at a Rudolf Steiner School as a choir director and assistant to the Wuppertal opera director .
He composed incidental music , orchestral works , piano , organ and chamber music , choral works and songs .
