Fritz Fuhrich
Fritz Fuhrich (born July 1, 1937 ; † June 17, 2005 in Vienna ) was an Austrian theater scholar .
Fuhrich was a research assistant at the Commission for Austrian Theater History at the Austrian Academy of Sciences and lectured at the Institute for Theater Studies at the University of Vienna .
Fuhrich published, among other things, on the theater history of Upper Austria in the 18th century and on the theater history of Vorarlberg . His main research interests included the theater of the Jesuits and Benedictines as well as the theater of the traveling troops .
He died after a long illness at the age of 67 and was buried at the Gersthofer Friedhof (1-4-20).
