Fritz Levermann

Fritz Levermann (born March 25, 1920 in Posen ; † July 22, 1992 in Fuerteventura ) was a German politician who pushed for the amalgamation of the four districts of the city of Friedrichsdorf .

Life

Fritz Levermann was community representative from 1948 to 1958 and from 1958 to 1972 mayor of the previously independent community of Köppern . As one of the four founding fathers of the entire city of Friedrichsdorf, which was merged in 1972 from the municipalities of Friedrichsdorf, Köppern, Seulberg and Burgholzhausen , he was First City Councilor from 1972 to 1978 and played a key role in shaping the city's development into a modern community. He then headed the Köppern local advisory board from 1981 to 1989 . From 1960 to 1992 he was head of the local court in Köppern without interruption . In 1995 the square in front of the Forum Friedrichsdorf (formerly Bürgerhaus Köppern) was renamed Fritz-Levermann-Platz.
