Fritz Linner
Fritz Linner (born September 16, 1952 in Bruck an der Mur ) is an Austrian radio presenter .

Fritz Linner was born on September 16, 1952 in Bruck an der Mur and received his school education here. Already in his youth he was active as a football player and appeared for years for his home club, SC Bruck / Mur , both in the state and in the then B-League. Furthermore, he was already active as a DJ at a young age and came to the still young radio station Ö3 at the end of the 1960s, although he only had short assignments. Subsequently, Linner was the long-time hall spokesman for the local handball club , HC Bruck . Through Josef "Joe" Horn , a former handball and volleyball player in Bruck , who was now in charge of the handball team in Bruck, Linner came into contact with the newly founded private radio station Antenne Steiermark in 1995 . After his tenure there, he worked from 1995 to 1998 as sports director and presenter, before moving back to his hometown and as a program and music director at MM89,6 The Radio , the music channel of the Mur and Mürztal , got in. At the station, which had specialized in a music mix from the 1960s to 1980s, he worked until the end of broadcasting in 2010.
On the side or after the end of broadcast on June 89 , Linner appeared as editor-in-chief , presenter and reporter for the local radio station Radio Eins . In addition to other activities at the local private television broadcaster Mema TV , he appeared again sporadically as a reporter at Antenne Steiermark after the end of June 89. Since October 2016 he can be heard every Friday between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. with music from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s on Radio Grün-Weiß , where he has often invited studio guests to his program. Soon afterwards the program was changed so that his show Kulthits can be heard every Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. in addition, on Sundays from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., he participates in the said program on the radio station's program. In his home region in particular, Linner often acts as a moderator at public events such as citizens' forums, company celebrations and the like. For a large part of his engagements he worked under or with his childhood friend Bruno Rabl . At Union Leoben , the Leoben handball club, he also acted as press spokesman for several years .
Linner lives with his wife Isolde in Bruck an der Mur.
