Fritz Müller-Partenkirchen

Fritz Müller-Partenkirchen (actually Fritz Müller ; born February 24, 1875 in Munich , † February 4, 1942 in Hundham ) was a German writer .

Life

From 1892 to 1895 he completed a business apprenticeship and became an accountant and later a commercial teacher in Partenkirchen . At the age of 40, he started studying law and economics at the University of Zurich . During this time, in 1915, the first publication about experiences and stories in the First World War appeared. In the 1920s he took the stage name Müller-Partenkirchen and wrote, often in a humorous style, business stories and novels. His most successful novel was Kramer & Friemann. An apprenticeship that appeared in 1920. Müller-Partenkirchen lost one leg in an accident, the other one has since been paralyzed.

After the takeover of the Nazi regime he signed in October 1933 along with 87 other writers, the vow faithful allegiance to Adolf Hitler .

After the end of the war, his writings Rund um den Bückeberg (1934) and Heul ', if it's time! Were published in the Soviet occupation zone . (1942) placed on the list of literature to be discarded.
