Fritz Mittelmann

Fritz Mittelmann (born January 30, 1886 in Berlin ; † June 25, 1932 there ) was a German writer and politician of the DVP .

Life and work

After graduation on the Dorotheenstädtischer secondary school in Berlin , he studied at the University , and later in Marburg and Munich , economics , history , philosophy , art history and German and foreign literature . In 1908 he became a doctor of philosophy doctorate . He then continued his studies at the Sorbonne in Paris and made long trips abroad. After his return to Germany he settled as a freelance writer in Stettin and published the Rundschau for national and liberal politics .

Political party

During the Empire, Mittelmann was a member of the National Liberal Party . In 1918 he took part in the reorganization of the National Liberals to form the DVP .

MP

Mittelmann was a member of the Weimar National Assembly . He was then a member of the Reichstag until 1930 .
