Fritz Seidl (born August 19, 1919 ) is a former German soccer player who was active for FC Bayern Munich from 1943 to 1947 and won two titles.

Career

Seidl belonged to FC Bayern Munich as a striker for the 1943/44 season and was active with him in Gauliga Bayern in the Gauliga Südbayern , which had been split into two groups a year earlier due to the war-related circumstances . After 18 match days and four points ahead of KSG BC / Post Augsburg , he won the South Bavarian championship with Bayern , which was - purely arithmetically - already after the 15th match day. For FC Bayern Munich it was the first championship title in the Gauliga , which was officially known as the sports class from 1939. As a result, Seidl took part in the final round of the German championship with the team , but after the 1: 2 defeat nV in the first round at VfR Mannheim , he was eliminated from the competition with her. In the twelfth and final season of the Gauliga Bayern this was again divided into five sports area classes, but a champion could only be determined in the sports area class Munich / Upper Bavaria . Seidl won with FC Bayern Munich after 15 of 18 completed league games, also this time - purely arithmetically - the Upper Bavarian Championship, after which they won 3-1 at SpVgg Sendling on March 25, 1945 and fought for the necessary lead. In the newly created Oberliga Süd , the first league in Germany, Seidl completed two more seasons for FC Bayern Munich when it started on November 4, 1945. In his first season he was used in 23 league games, in which he scored five goals. He scored his first two on December 30, 1945 (9th matchday) in a 5-2 win at home against Kickers Offenbach . In his last season, 1946/47 , he played only six point games.
