Fritz Westphal
Fritz Westphal ( pseudonym : Peter Stephan , born March 7, 1921 in St. Magnus, Bremen ) is a German writer and translator .
Life
Fritz Westpahl grew up in Bederkesa . He worked as a publishing editor , journalist and translator . He has lived in Worpswede since 1999 .
Fritz Westphal is the author of books for young people and regional studies. He also translated Swedish authors of books for young people into German ; the book " Wickie und die stark Männer " by Runer Jonsson , which he translated , was awarded the German Youth Book Prize in 1965.
