Edouard Didron

Édouard Didron (born October 13, 1836 in Paris , † April 14, 1902 ) was a French glass painter who created many stained glass windows for churches in Paris and the Île-de-France .

Life

Édouard Didron was adopted by his maternal uncle, the archaeologist Adolphe-Napoléon Didron (1806–1867). Édouard took over the stained glass workshop founded by his uncle in 1849, which was located in Neuilly-sur-Seine . As one of the leading studios, he was represented at the exhibitions in 1857 and 1859. At the Paris World's Fair in 1878 he was a member of the selection committee.
