Fritz Willig

Fritz Willig (born June 30, 1941 in Laatzen ) is a German lawyer , lawyer , notary and writer .

Life

Born in the middle of the Second World War , Fritz Willig grew up in his native Laatzen after the war . His mother worked as a clerk, his brother was a butcher. In 2004 he dedicated the Fritz Willig fountain in Laatzen designed by Udo Hetmeier to his father Fritz Willig .

In Hanover , Fritz Willig attended the Leibniz School - and the Schiller School . He then studied law in Marburg , Munich and Münster . As a student, he boxed light welterweight and worked in restaurants and detective agencies. In 1967 he founded his own law firm in the capital of Lower Saxony . As a lawyer, Willig made a name for himself “through spectacular economic and murder trials.” In 2000, he gave up his Laatzener law firm.

From 1991 to 1993 Fritz Willig was president of the Hannover 96 soccer club . Under his aegis, the Bundesliga club won the 1992 cup . In 2010 Willig was a member of the founding board of the Robert Enke Foundation .

In his spare time, the lawyer wrote several books, in addition to a non-fiction book on marriage and divorce, autobiographical works, detective novels and three children's books in which his deceased dog, a Weimaraner named "Lucky", plays the leading role.

Fritz Willig is a member of the SPD and has been married for decades.
