Front loop

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The rock band Frontloop was founded in Castrop-Rauxel in 1998. Due to their independent sound and musical experimentation, the press gave them the nickname "Die Faith No More from Castrop-Rauxel".

In 2002 the band separated from their then singer Thomas Wissing. Daniel Günther (former singer and guitarist of the band Jamawake) could be won as a new front man. His melodic singing changed the entire sound of the band, which became more and more suitable for the masses in subsequent productions.

The band had their big breakthrough in 2004, when their song "Better Place" was voted best surf song by the readers of SURF (Europe's largest surf magazine). In addition, the trend magazine VISIONS named Frontloop Newcomer Band of the Year 2004.

Frontloop contributed more songs to cinema, DVD and video soundtracks; among others for the movies "Movie Night of Extreme Sports" and the extreme sports DVD "Moving". The rock band from North Rhine-Westphalia was able to quickly make a name for itself in the fun and extreme sports scene.

In their almost 10-year career, Frontloop has shared the stage with many national and international stars, and so they have played with bands such as Such a Surge , Cosmo Klein , 4Lyn , Sub7even , Zoo Army , Killer Barbies , Extrabreit , Klee and others Trashmonkeys .
