Fruttero & Lucentini
The two Italian crime writers Carlo Fruttero (1926–2012) and Franco Lucentini (1920–2002) hide behind the two surnames Fruttero & Lucentini (often just F&L ). As a successful duo of authors, they are also called “The Company” (La ditta) . Her novels are mostly not just thrillers, but also contain profound social criticism.
In addition, Fruttero & Lucentini jointly managed the science fiction magazine Urania from 1961 to 1986 , which is published by Mondadori in Milan, and translated for the Einaudi publishing house in Turin.
