course

The Fuhlaubach rises in a meadow area north of Ottermoor and runs recognizably straightened as a meadow ditch to the west, still in the soft image of the village of Welle. Immediately before crossing under the L 141, the Kampener Bach flows into the Fuhlaubach from the left . After crossing under the L 141, the still recognizable straightened Fuhlaubach flows into the Este after a few hundred meters from the left and south-west.

Status

The Fuhlaubach is critically loaded throughout its course (quality class II-III).

Traffic rules

Due to the intensive use of the Estonians by recreational sports and canoe rental companies, the Harburg district issued an ordinance in 2002 for the Estonians, their backwaters and the associated bank areas, which is intended to protect the habitat of plants and animals. Since then, driving and entering the Fuhlaubach stream has been prohibited all year round.
