The Fukushima Peak is a 4634 m high and prominent mountain peak in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises at the southern end of the Vinson massif around 3 km south of Mount Vinson in the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2006 after Eiichi Fukushima, a participant in the American Antarctic Mountaineering Expedition (1966-1967), who succeeded in the first ascent of the Vinson massif and other high mountains in the Sentinel Range.
