The Fulk Al Salamah ( Arabic فلك السلامة, DMG Fulk as-Salāma ) is a private mega yacht . With a length of 164 meters, it is currently (as of 2018) the second longest yacht in the world. The handover of the ship, built under the project name Mariotti 131 at the Italian shipyard Mariotti, took place in 2016. The owner is the Sultanate of Oman , from which the ship Sultan Qabus ibn Said was made available as a royal yacht.

The hull is made of steel, the superstructure of steel and aluminum. The interior was designed by Studio de Jorio. The yacht has a helipad

history

A troop transport of the Royal Navy of Oman used to be called Fulk al Salamah . It was built in 1987 in the Bremer Vulkan shipyard and only renamed Al Dhafera when the new yacht was commissioned . Today it serves as the escort ship for the two royal yachts ( Al Said and Fulk Al Salamah ).
