The Al Said is a private mega yacht . With a length of 155 meters, she is currently (as of 2018) the sixth longest yacht in the world. The ship , which was built under the project name “Sunflower” at the German shipyard Lürssen , was launched in 2007 and handed over in 2008. The owner is the Sultanate of Oman , from which the ship Sultan Qabus ibn Said was made available as a royal yacht.

Furnishing

The yacht is powered by two each 8,200  kW payable MTU - Diesel engines driven by the vessel to a maximum of 14.5 knots to speed. The hull is made of steel, the superstructure of aluminum. Interior details were not disclosed. In addition to a helipad, the yacht will have a concert hall for a 50-member orchestra, a cinema and a sauna area.

The more than 8000 m² area of ​​the mega yacht is spread over six decks. There is space on board for a crew of 150, who take care of up to 65 guests.
