Fullsteam Records is a Finnish music label founded in 2002 that mainly represents and markets indie , punk and alternative rock bands. The company founded by Juha Kyyrö has grown steadily in recent years and today has a permanent place in the ranks of other Finnish record companies. The main reason for this is the export potential and the international awareness of the bands marketed. These include, for example, Flogging Molly , Gogol Bordello or Disco Ensemble .
Fullsteam Records also maintains a sub-label called 1000 Records, which specializes in the hip-hop and electronics genres . The founder Juha Kyyrö has been working exclusively in the company since 2006 and is mainly dedicated to promoting the bands under the name Fullsteam Agency .
To date, the record company has received the Independent Label of the Year award four times , which is awarded annually by the Finnish Musiikki & Media ( Music & Media ).
