Fumiya Iwamaru ( Japanese 岩 丸 史 也 Iwamaru Fumiya ; born December 4, 1981 in Gunma Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Iwamaru learned to play soccer on the school team at Maebashi Ikuei High School . He signed his first contract with Vissel Kobe in 2000 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club he completed seven top division games. In September 2004 he moved to league rivals Júbilo Iwata . In 2004 he reached the final of the Kaiser Cup . For the club he completed seven top division games. In 2005 he moved to the second division Thespa Kusatsu (today: Thespakusatsu Gunma). For the club he completed 21 league games. In 2006 he moved to the first division club Avispa Fukuoka . In 2007 he moved to league rivals Yokohama FC . At the end of the 2007 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . For the club he completed 21 league games. In 2011 he moved to league competitor Roasso Kumamoto .
