The women 's Futsal League West , until 2016 the WFLV Futsal League , is the highest women's futsal league in North Rhine-Westphalia . It was founded in 2015 and is under the direction of the West German Football Association . The current title holder and record champion is the UFC Münster .

Story and mode

The WFLV Futsal League was introduced in 2015 and consisted of six teams in the first season. From the second season the league was expanded to nine teams and renamed Futsalliga West. There is no ascent and descent; the teams must report to the association if they want to participate.

The teams compete against each other in the league system . Each team plays twice against every other team from the league, with one game taking place in their own hall and one in the hall of the respective opponent. There are three points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a loss. If two or more teams are tied, first the direct comparison and then the better goal difference counts .
