Gérard Leman
Gérard Mathieu Joseph Georges Leman (born January 8, 1851 in Liège ; † October 17, 1920 ibid) was a Belgian lieutenant general and governor of the Liège fortress at the beginning of the First World War .
When Fort Loncin fell, Leman was taken prisoner by the Prussian Major Ernst Gruson on August 15, 1914 .
