Göksel Demirpençe , or Göksel for short (born November 25, 1971 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish pop singer.
life and career
After dropping out of philosophy at the Bosporus University , she initially sang as a background singer for various musicians, among others. a. Sezen Aksu and Sertab Erener . In 1997 her debut album Yollar appeared with the hit Sabır . In 2001 she switched to Sony Music and released her second album Körebe with the hit Depresyondayım (I'm depressed) .
In addition to her solo albums, she also worked with various other artists, e. B. the Greek band Omega Vibes (Karşı kıyıya) or maNga (Dursun Zaman) . In 2006 she gave a concert in Bochum and in 2008 in Mannheim .
In 2007 her album Ay'da yürüdüm (I walked on the moon) was released. In the piece Taş Bebek she is supported by Teoman and Ferman Akgül (singer from maNga).
