Göran Simon Marström (born October 12, 1942 in Åtvidaberg ) is a former Swedish sailor .
successes
Göran Marström, who sailed for the Linköpings Jolleseglarklubb , took part in the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow with Jörgen Ragnarsson in the Tornado boat class . With 33.7 total points, they finished the regatta in third place behind the Brazilian Olympic champions Lars Sigurd Björkström and Alexandre Welter and the Danish duo Peter Due and Per Kjærgaard Nielsen and thus received the bronze medal. In three other Olympic participations launched Marström in the Tornado class each with different partners: in 1984 he finished in Los Angeles with Krister Söderqvist tenth place, four years out in Seoul , he was with Karl Strandman twelfth and the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona , he finished with Stefan Rahm on rank 18.
