Alexandre Welter (born June 30, 1953 in São Paulo ) is a former Brazilian sailor .

Alexandre Welter took part in the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow in the boat class Tornado . Together with Lars Sigurd Björkström he took first place in front of Peter Due and Per Kjærgaard Nielsen as well as Göran Marström and Jörgen Ragnarsson . They became Olympic champions with a total of 21.4 points .
