The men's 4 x 400 meter relay at the 2016 European Athletics Championships took place on July 9 and 10, 2016 in the Olympic Stadium in the Dutch capital, Amsterdam .

Belgium became European champion with Julien Watrin , Jonathan Borlée , Dylan Borlée and Kevin Borlée (final) as well as Robin Vanderbemden, who was also used in the preliminary run . Second place went to Poland with Łukasz Krawczuk , Kacper Kozłowski , Jakub Krzewina and Rafał Omelko (final) as well as Michał Pietrzak, who was also used in the preliminary run . Bronze went to Great Britain with Rabah Yousif , Delano Williams , Jack Green (final) and Matthew Hudson-Smith (final) as well as Nigel Levine and Jarryd Dunn, who were also used in the preliminary run .

The runners only used in the run-up were given corresponding precious metal.
