Jean-Yves Le Déroff (born September 15, 1957 in Inezgane , Morocco ) is a former French sailor .
successes
Jean-Yves Le Déroff took part in the Tornado boat class at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul , where he won the regatta with Nicolas Hénard by a clear margin. In the first five of a total of seven races they finished three times first and twice second, and in the sixth race they finished fifth. With that they were already Olympic champions ahead of the New Zealand and the Brazilian boat and did not start in the final seventh race. At the World Championships in 1988 he won the silver medal in the tornado with Nicolas Hénard in Tallinn .
