Göran Strandberg
Göran beach mountain (* 1949 ) is a Swedish jazz - pianist , composer , arranger and professor.
Strandberg worked in Red Mitchell's Formation Communication in the 1970s and was an accompanist for musicians touring Scandinavia such as Lee Konitz , Dexter Gordon , Art Farmer ( A Sleeping Bee , 1974), Helen Merrill , Joe Newman , Thad Jones and Clark Terry . In the 1990s he was a member of the Stockholm Jazz Orchestra ( Tango , 1999) and was co-leader of Göran Strandberg-Berit Andersson Kvartett. Göran Strandberg also worked as a composer and arranger for the Stockholm Jazz Orchestra ( Plays the Music of Göran Strandberg , Sailing , 2005). In 2002 he recorded the album Third Eye on Dragon Records under his own name . a. with an interpretation of body and soul .
He has also worked with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra , the Estonian Dream Band and the UMO Jazz Orchestra . Göran Strandberg teaches piano and composition at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm .
