Gümüşkanat ( Turkish for silver wing ) (Kurd. Kêboran) is a village in the Mutki district of the Turkish province of Bitlis . Gümüşkanat is located about 25 km west of the district town of Mutki in a mountainous region at an altitude of 1470 m above sea level.
The original name of the village was Keyburan. This was the name of a tribe that lived there. The village is known for its 60 m high waterfall.
The hamlets ( mezra ) Şirinyurt, Çatalçeşme, Vezir, Cevizli, Atabaşı, Yıldız, Örencik, Başçavuş, Meşelik, Suçakı and Ayşehatun belong to Gümüşkanat. Gümüşkanat is part of the Bucak Meydan and in 1985 had a total of 916 inhabitants. In 2010 there were still 255 people living there.
