Günter Gall (artist)

Günter Gall (* 1947 ) is a Low German folk singer , guitar player , comedian and reciter who has lived in Osnabrück for 30 years . He has been performing nationwide for more than 25 years and is accompanied by the classical guitarist and composer Konstantin Wassiljew .

Growing up on the Lower Rhine, Gall began to sing songs from the Lower Rhine area during the heyday of folk music in the 1970s . In 1983 he and the Mulwerk duo won first prize at the WDR Stadtmusik in the folk category . In the 90s, Gall performed with his group Düwelskermes and stood on stage with Hanns-Dieter Hüsch . Gall also sang for the "black sheep from the Lower Rhine" at the Hüsch farewell gala on December 16, 2000 in Moers .

Gall's repertoire also includes programs about Carl Michael Bellman , Erich Kästner , Erich Maria Remarque , Mascha Kaléko , Joachim Ringelnatz and Fritz Grasshoff . "Burned Poets", portraits with songs, poetry, prose by a. a. He successfully plays Walter Mehring , Remarque and others all over Germany. A very lively children's program "Tüdelütt & Vigelei" (6-10 years) with beautiful bench pictures by Olaf Thielsch is also in his repertoire. His CD “Soldiers Life” was voted CD of the month by Folker in May 2014 . This program to commemorate the 100th memory of the First World War was very successful nationwide. His song for Hans Calmeyer was number 2 on the best song list for many months .

In 2017 Gall and his guitarist Konstantin Vassiliev play the program Radlers Bliss with songs, instrumentals and stories for the 200th anniversary of the bicycle. A best of 35 years of literature and music was performed several times.
