Gunter Heise

Gunter Heise (born April 19, 1951 in Laucha an der Unstrut ) was the managing partner and spokesman for the management of Rotkäppchen-Mumm Sektkellereien GmbH in Freyburg (Unstrut) until the end of April 2013 .

Life

After graduating from high school in Naumburg, the son of a baker studied processing and process engineering , specializing in food technology, at the Technical University of Dresden . In 1973 he began his professional career as a graduate engineer at VEB Rotkäppchen-Sektkellerei , and in 1978 he became technical director. After German reunification , Heise became managing director of the company under the management of the Treuhandanstalt in 1991 .

After the purchase by the management, Heise became a managing partner in 1993. He modernized the traditional Rotkäppchen Sekt brand and made it number 1 on the German sparkling wine market with a market share of 31% in 2009. After his retirement at the end of April 2013, he became chairman of the advisory board. His successor is Christof Queisser.

Gunter Heise is an enthusiastic carnivalist . He has a son from his marriage to a dentist.
