Social Market Economy Prize
The price social market economy of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation honors annually since 2002 personalities, working for the preservation and development of the social market economy have been used in an outstanding way. These are intended to provide substantive impetus for political work and emphasize the importance of the basic principles of the social market economy for the current challenges.
The foundation board decides on the award of the undoped award based on the proposal of a five-member jury chaired by former Minister of State Hildegard Müller . Further members are Claus-Michael Allmendinger , Michael Hüther , Karl-Josef Laumann and Franz Schoser .
