Günter Rainer

Günter Rainer (actually Günter Reinecke ) (born October 25, 1941 in Vienna ) is a German actor , director and radio play speaker .

Life

Günter Rainer's parents were the owners of a textile wholesaler who insisted on their son's commercial school-leaving certificate. Rainer began his stage career in 1961 in Klagenfurt and Salzburg. In 1973 he moved to the the time of Horst Zankl led the Theater am Neumarkt in Zurich. After further engagements at the Hamburger Schauspielhaus , the Landestheater Innsbruck , where he also acted as head of the youth department, or the Ateliertheater in Bern, where he directed, Rainer came to the Landestheater Linz in 1986 , of which he was a member until 2007. Since then he has been working as a freelancer, continued to perform on stage in Linz, but also made guest appearances at the Ernst-Deutsch-Theater in Hamburg or at the Theater an der Rott , for example .
