Günther Brückner
Günther Brückner (born October 28, 1925 in Leipzig ; † June 18, 1996 ) was a German Protestant pastor and politician ( CDU ). He was a member of the Saxon state parliament in its first legislative period from 1990 to 1994.
Live and act
Brückner attended high school and passed his Abitur in Leipzig. After studying Protestant theology at the University of Leipzig, he became a pastor in Großdalzig in 1954 . In 1958 he went to Böhlen , where he stayed until 1965 and then went to Wiesa . He stayed in Wiesa until he retired in 1990.
In January 1990 he joined the CDU and was elected in the following October 1990 as a direct candidate in constituency 68 (Annaberg 1) in the first state parliament of the Free State of Saxony. He was also deputy chairman of the CDU in the Annaberg district , and also president of the Annaberg district council. He left the state parliament, in which he was deputy chairman of the committee for federal and European affairs and was a full member of the committee for schools, youth and sport, after an electoral term in 1994.
Brückner was married and had three children.
