Günther Strößner

Günther Strößner (* October 8, 1930 ; † March 12, 2011 ) was a German geodesist and administrative officer .

Strößner was Ministerialdirigent in the Bavarian State Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Forests and in succession to Wilhelm Abb for many years head of the Bavarian Land Consolidation Administration , which was called the Bavarian Administration for Rural Development from November 1, 1992 . He was the founder of the series of publications on rural development in Bavaria and the now dissolved German Academy of Research and Planning in Rural Areas . In 1994 Strößner left the service. He died on March 12, 2011 after longstanding health problems.
